Dan Burton: virginia, new jersey, they have all spoken and i think they speak for the american people. they want us to try to work out these problems that they are facing together and not keep pointing fingers. it's time for us to get down to the job of creating jobs. they don't want this health care bill. it's pretty darn clear. that was the major issue in massachusetts.

Dan Burton: so we need to get together and solve the problems of health care without ramming something down the people's throat closed doors. it's extremely important. they don't want higher taxes, they want lower taxes. they don't want more government interference in their lives, they want less. and so what we ought to do is address the problems that are really important right now.
