Sheila Jackson-Lee: unemployed need to have a job in hand. they need to be able to retrain -- be trained and then work. those who are unemployed need to be able to be trained for new jobs and not lose their unemployment. we've got to put a job in the hand of the chronically unemployed, that's what i'll continue to fight for. that's the legis will support.
