Kathy Castor: tax dollars go to bail out companies like a.i.g. whose own greed and recklessness are responsible for the economic downturn in the first place. it's hard to understand why a.i.g. executives think they have earned bonuses in the first place. more importantly, how dare a.i.g. use tens of millions of taxpayer dollars to reward themselves for bad behavior.
