Steve King: members are reduced to sitting in tiny little chairs with their elbows tucked inside their waistline not having room for their own staff to come to the room, sending emails out to the staff in order to get a piece of paper in that you might need to beg the rules committee to allow for an open debate here on the floor of the house of representatives. this is the deconstruction of deliberative democracy.
