Barbara Boxer: replenish the highway trust fund until september 30. i think most of us in the senate would have liked to have replenished for far longer than that. but we did this and we also helped with unemployment insurance and we also helped our families get mortgages and we also made a commitment to senator bond that we're going to take care of his amendment at the appropriate moment.
