Johnny Isakson: we now have a, by estimates as i recall, a liability. in other words, our kids and our grandkids will not seven or eight years from now unless we fix the issue of costs. mr. alexander: the senat is -- mr. isakson: the senator is right. as of right now medicare goes broke in 2017. only eight years from now.

Johnny Isakson: in this bill, part of the pay-for is to raise the cost of medicaid on the states to a level that would take georgia's medicaid payments in the year 2014, state tax dollars, to be
