Barbara Boxer: member as chair of the environment and public works, that if we don't resolve this loss that senator inhofe will expand on. we had to put in a decision that was on the last highway safetea-lu. we know what we're going to do. we know how we're going to fund it. it will be deficit neutral.

Barbara Boxer: it will help our states. if we don't do it, we're going to see layoffs and nobody wants to see layoffs at a time we're in this difficult economic time. so i'm very pleased to be here to inform colleagues we are working very hard and we have very few objections, if any, on this and we'll be back to colleagues later in the evening
