Lamar Alexander: i may not be correct that that's the number-one issue in public opinion surveys, but i recall it is pretty high up on the list. mr. alexander: i think the senator is exactly right. and we on the republican side -- and i believe some democrats, too, as well -- have some proposals about how to restart housing. we'd like to deal with that on this issue as well.
