Mitch McConnell: the right to object. let me briefly recount for our colleagues where we've been on this issue over the last days. we offered number of five of my members have been willing to discontinue their requests for votes on their amendments.

Mitch McConnell: the majority leader is planning on handling the health care debate, because the american people will storm the capitol. if they think that the majority is going to dictate to the minority what amendments will be offered on a bill as significant as restructuring one-sixth of the economy. now, i feel like i have been -- and my colleues have been -- extraordinarily reasonable.
