Amy Klobuchar: there were three women there. they all had breast cancer and all were survivors and had incredibly low rates of the possibility of getti breast cancer again because of advances in science. i was stunned to hear about their difficulty because even though the possibility of their getting breast cancer again were so low, it was still considered a preexisting condition for so many insurance policies.

Amy Klobuchar: on tv, like on billings, montana, tv in order to make their case or a woman in eight states, a victim of domestic abuse, that is considered in eight states to be a preexisting condition. i guess maybe to go on tv and talk about her domestic abuse, then there would be a change of mind and change of heart. that is not good enough, coverage by cable tv for the majority of americans.
