Hi Michael,

One request and a notice:

• Would it be possible to avoid the use of ExtensionFunctions.php in Metavid? It's a file I would like to get rid of, and Metavid is the only extension in SVN still using it (to override Special:Search). If there's another way, please use it, if you need help, the users in #mediawiki on Freenode will probably be able to help.
• The blog http://metavid.ucsc.edu/blog appears to be unreachable (redirect loop?)
